San Bernardino Victims Funding Campaign

December 10, 2015

Fundraising for the San Bernardino victims

At least 14 people were killed and 17 more wounded in San Bernardino, California where up to 3 attackers went on a shooting spree at a regional center that serves those with special needs. The San Bernardino families lost their loved ones in a deplorable act of violence.  This caused our very own Dr. Faisal Qazi to launch this campaign the same day the crime was committed.  It quickly grew to be a nationwide good faith endeavor.

All fundraising proceeds will help with the immediate, short-term needs of the grieving families. No amount of money will bring back their loved ones, but the hope is to lessen their burden in some way.  Since the campaign has continued to exceed every new goal set (began with a $20,000 goal and have now surpassed $180,000), there is a strong possibility of assisting these families with long-term expenses as well as a donation to the regional center.

The campaign was reported and covered by these news outlets.
