Service Spotlight: Volunteers

December 19, 2016

Our volunteers are an integral part of the work that we do at MiNDS.   They are the heart of our organization—they are the individuals, groups, and families that come together for the betterment of the community they’re serving.   Whether you’re a kid, a teenager, an adult, or a retiree, we count on you to show up and make an impact.

Our next service event will be on January 14th, 2016 for MLK National Day of Service.  If you would like to volunteer with us and want more information, please email our Project Manager, Yasmin Ibrahim, at [email protected].

“MiNDS always has a big turn out on every event – hundreds of people always show up appreciative and thankful for people volunteering their time to help out. I usually give medical advice, so I always have patients asking little health questions and having doctors on staff to give them some help.”

Rama Ghamyan – volunteer with MiNDS for the last six years
